Best Books I Read in 2014

Well, it has been more than a year since my last post. Maybe I should just call this an annual blog.
I only read 71 books in 2014, so I guess I slacked off on both reading and blogging. I started quite a few books before chucking them to the side. I no longer feel compelled to finish a book once I lose interest.

Here are my favorites that I read in the past year:

Great Streaming Movies and TV - Vol. 3: Horror

streaming movies and TV on the Drabble - horror

Now, for the third installment of Streamers: Great Streaming Movies and TV, the promised horror post. Some of these aren't technically "horror" movies or shows but contain dark or creepy content, like Twin Peaks, Dogtooth, and Oldboy. Most aren't exactly critically acclaimed, but are at least entertaining...

Some of these shows and movies can also be downloaded from Amazon Instant Video and Hulu Plus.

Netflix Streaming Horror Recommendations:

  • The New Daughter - Kevin Costner and some scary Indian burial mounds
  • Twin Peaks - Watch and be amazed that something this cool aired on ABC
  • The Shrine - Low-budget Canadian film with creepy Polish villagers and a curse
  • Skeleton Key - Haunted Louisiana mansion terrorizes Kate Hudson
  • Oldboy - See this dark, insane Korean movie before the American remake comes out
  • The House of the Devil - Greta Gerwig! 80's horror homage.
